Best loach for freshwater tanks
6 species in this category on Fishori. Open a profile for tank size, temperament, then run pair checks before mixing.
Loaches are bottom-dwellers, mostly active at dusk and after lights-out, and almost all of them are social. A single loach in a community tank hides, refuses food, and dies bored. Most species also outgrow the tank they were sold in. Clown loaches reach 30 cm. Yo-yo loaches reach 12 cm and want a footprint, not a column. Check the adult size on the profile before the juvenile in the shop wins the argument.
